Premium low hydrogen   all-position electrode with a basic coating (E7018-1) used on DC or AC   current. This all position electrode is used for producing very high quality welds. It has a cellulosic covering   which produces a forceful, deep penetrating arc and a thin friable easily  removed slag. As it can be used in all   positions, it finds wide usage in structural work, pressure vessels, ship-building and pipeline welding and is sometimes used on galvanized steel.

This low-hydrogen electrode is used for producing high-strength welds in critical applications. It has an iron powder coating that improves deposition rates and a controlled arc for superior mechanical properties.
